Warriors for Water: Running for Water in One of the Driest Places on Earth.

Through the Warriors for Water campaign, the Rex Maughan Forever Giving Foundation continued its mission to support life-changing clean water projects by combining endurance, community engagement, and collective action.

As part of the Warriors for Water campaign, Forever Business Owner Felix Lloyd-Davies took on the Marathon des Sables, a six-day, 250-kilometer ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert. Widely considered one of the most challenging endurance races in the world, the event provided a powerful platform to raise awareness around the global water crisis.

Felix’s participation in the race was fully self-funded, while all community donations raised through the campaign were directed to clean water projects. Over the course of the campaign, the Forever community raised over £5,500.

Known for its extreme heat and demanding terrain, the Marathon des Sables reflects the daily reality faced by millions of people who walk long distances in search of clean, safe water. Through Warriors for Water, supporters were invited to take part by sharing the campaign, spreading awareness, and contributing to sustainable water solutions.

These funds are supporting a clean water project in India that is currently under construction and will provide reliable access to safe drinking water for a community in need, helping improve health, education and long-term stability for families.

This initiative reflects the Rex Maughan Forever Giving Foundation’s commitment to improving the quality of life for vulnerable communities. We are so grateful to Felix and everyone who took part in the Warriors for Water campaign, demonstrating how collective generosity can create lasting change.
